Thomas Huxtable Obituary
Tom graduated from Colonial Beach High School and attended James Madison University. He had a successful career in sales at S&J Appliance, Lynnhaven Marine, Goldberg Appliances, Huskey Home Products, Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery and East Coast Appliance. In his retirement, he worked at the Redwing Golf Course. Tom served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister at Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach for 15 years. Tom was an avid golfer and devoted friend to so many. He was known for his strong faith and compassion for those in need.
He is survived by his wife, Johnna Lynn; sister, Catherine H. Jones (Brent) of Colonial Beach; nephew, Wesley S. Jones (Michelle) of Moorpark, Calif. and their daughters, Aubrey Nicole and Chelsea Morgan; niece, Kayla Evans (Elton) of Richmond; mother-in-law, Delinda H. Beane; and sister-in-law, Cheryl D. Beane.
The family wishes to thank their many friends who have helped through Tom's brief illness. Expressions of sympathy in the form of contributions to the Chapel Food Pantry at Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church, 2020 Laskin Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23454 or the Food Bank of SE Virginia are greatly appreciated.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church. Online condolences may be offered to the family at hdoliver.com.

Most of my memories of Tom are from St. Peter's when he and Johnna would attend services with the Jones family.He always had a smile!

Johnna, and family, My sincerest sympathy to you. What strength and courage you have endured these past recent weeks. I worked with Tom during our "Huskey" years and also at East Coast as a sales rep. He was always delightful, with much integrity. He will be missed, Tom´s Spirit will always be close to us all.
