Thomas Milton Wright, Sr., born October 5, 1936, passed away on January 31, 2026, in Richmond, Virginia.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Alma Wright; his beloved wife of 58 years, Elizabeth Wright; his brothers and sisters Lucille Gauldin Lynch, M.C. Wright, Jane Parrot, and Roy Wright; and his daughter-in-law, Susan Wright.
He is survived by his son, Thomas Milton Wright, Jr.; his three grandchildren, Mehgan Wright, Thomas Milton Wright III, and Janna Wright; his two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Tate; and his two loving sisters, Joyce and Claudine.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bliley's Funeral Home, 3801 Augusta Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23230.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Westhampton Memorial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Massey Cancer Center.
