Tinsley Mack Obituary

Tinsley Mack, 80, of Orange, died Saturday, March 26, 2005 at his residence. He was born August 13, 1924 in Richmond, Va. He was the son of the late Rev. Dr. Edward Mack and the late Lenore Mack. His wife was the late Louise Brockman Mack. He was preceded in death by several half brothers and half sisters. He was retired from the Soil Conservation Service. He was a farmer and Navy veteran of WWII. He was a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and had a Master's degree from the University of Virginia. He is survived by his four children, Edward Mack of Orange, Louise Mack of Stanley, Va., William and his wife, Glenda Mack of Ruckersville, and Pattie and her husband, Daniel Trebus of Silver Spring, Md. He is survived by four granddaughters, Loreley Mack, Audie Ferebee, Jamie Mack and Claire Mack. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30, at 1 p.m. at the Mack family cemetery on Mt. Sharon Rd., in Orange, Va. Family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange. Roger Browning will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Orange VFW, Post 2217, Orange, Va. 22960.
