Tyresa Jenkins Obituary
Ms. Tyresa Jenkins, 75 of Goochland, VA, peacefully went to join her beloved husband, Leroy Jenkins, on Monday, July 7, 2025. Born the cherished only daughter of Willie and Mary Towles, Tyresa was lovingly surrounded in life by her seven brothers, Robert "Lewis," Stephen, Calvin, Alvin, Charles "Bear," Ronald "Bunny" and Melvin.
Tyresa is survived by her devoted daughters, Leslie Delaney (Pearson) and Mary Henry (Eddie); and by the lights of her life, her grandchildren, Logan and Mason Henry and Asah Delaney; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She poured her heart into each of them.
Known for her generous spirit, Tyresa was a giver in every sense of the word, whether it was a hot meal, a kind word, or simply her time. Her favorite memories were made with family and friends; enjoying outdoors, playing cards and fishing, there wasn't a day too hot or a fish too small. Tyresa's warmth, strength, and humor will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Fauquier Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 2455 Dogtown Road, Goochland, VA. In lieu of flowers, potted plants appreciated. Arrangements by Robert Mealy Funeral Home, Goochland, VA.
