JUNIUS, Viola T., affectionally known as Nukie, Momma, Ma Vi, Ms. Vi and Vi entered eternal life on Friday, July 14, 2023 in the comfort of her home, at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph (Joe) L. Junius; son, Lorenza P. (Pete) Junius; grandson, Ronald C. Taylor Jr. She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Carol J. Lucas (Terry), devoted daughter, Rhonda C. Taylor; and son, Dr. Rev. Ronald C. Taylor Sr. (Debbie); devoted granddaughter, Dawn Y. Junius-Jefferson (Wilbert) and Ashante' Lucas; sister-in-law, Doris M. Brightly; nieces, devoted Patricia (Patsy) Burney, devoted Debra (Dena) Coleman and Sharlene Brightly; nephews, devoted Whitman Thornton III (Lucy), Harry and Carlton Brightly; cousins, Ann Taylor, Helen Whirley, Juel T. Seal, Elijah Jr., Sonia and Carlease Thornton; great-nieces, devoted Tawanda Watkins and Antoinette Collins; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street, Richmond, Va. 23224, where a celebration of life will be held (today) July 21, 2023 at 12 p.m. Interment Maury Cemetery.
