Walworth L. Peebles

PEEBLES Walworth L. Peebles, 79, of Petersburg, died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Eden Pines. Born in Petersburg, he was the son of the late Walworth L. Sr., and Elizabeth Jones Peebles. Mr. Peebles was a retired Electrolux salesman. He was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn C. Peebles; two sons, W. Brad Peebles and wife, Katheryn of Chester, David L. Peebles and wife, Sabrina of Chesterfield; two brothers, William D. Peebles of Utah, Robert B. Peebles of Johnson City, Tenn.; a sister, Mary Anne P. Reid of Richmond; and five grandchildren. Committal will be private. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Second Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Dr. Daniel Hale officiating.
