Will(ie) Crews Obituary

CREWS IV, Will(ie), 35, of Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of Chester, Va., passed away March 4, 2023. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his "little princess," Ella Charlotte; loving mother, Donna Hamill (Greg); father, Willie Crews III; younger sister and biggest supporter, Kati Crews (Dex); niece, Avery Marlene; younger brother, Ethan Hamill (broski); aunt, Wanda Robertson (Auntie); brotherly cousins, Michael and Hunter; extended aunts, uncles, cousins; and devoted companion, Emily.

Will was a graduate of L.C. Bird High School where he was a member of the football and wrestling team. He was a loving dad, an avid outdoorsman who loved the beach, shark fishing, concerts, traveling, playing poker, grilling, shopping and spending time with family and friends. His infectious smile and sense of humor will be missed by many.

A private memorial service is planned for immediate family and a public Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.

Will has always been one of my close friends, we stayed in touch even when he moved. We went through the peaks and valleys together, one of the few that never switched up. I will miss you and have you in mind, brother!! Till I see you up there watch over me and these kids. Love

Donna/Willie, I am so sorry to have heard this sad news over the weekend. Ran into a High School friend who told me. I can't imagine and hope that your faith and family are helping you to heal through this pain.

My heart goes out to all of you and I am lost for words! My kids played with Willie and there for a while I had the pleasure of being his aunt and watching this child grow! You are all in my prayers! May you all find comfort in the memories that you hold dear to your heart

He was such a great person. Would love to attend his memorial service but I understand it being private family. I would also love to help with any expenses needed. I haven't seen him in a few years but he was very dear to my heart. He was very respectful to me always. Will never forget his gorgeous smile. Praying for everyone involved in his loss.
