William Hubert Erps

ERPS William (Bill) Hubert Erps of Chester, Va., formerly of Gary, W.Va., passed away at Hunter-McGuire Hospice on Sunday, October 29, 2006 at age 88. He was born to Walter and Judy Erps. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Thelma Killen Erps; a son, Richard Stephen Erps; a granddaughter, Brianna Erps; two stepdaughters, Sandra DeAngelis (Rick) and Joyce Turner (Richard); seven step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Bill served in WW II Pacific Theatre in the Army and Air Force. He served as service officer of the VFW Post 1426, was a life member of Disabled American Vets and a member of the American Legion. He was successful in many endeavors through hard work. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church for many years. Funeral arrangements are by J.T. Morriss & Son Funer al Home & Cremation Service in Chester. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 1 p.m. in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield.
