William M. "Bill" Glasheen Jr.

It is with the utmost sadness that we share with you the passing of our father, brother, grandfather and friend, William M. "Bill" Glasheen Jr. on the first of November, 2005. He made us laugh until we cried; he taught us to love and respect the world and all its inhabitants. He showed us through his words and actions how to live every day as if it was the most important. We will miss him but are comforted knowing that he is at peace with his beloved wife, Winifred Stewart Glasheen and his eldest daughter, "Winnie" Glasheen. His remaining children, Deirdre, Michael, Brian, Thomas and Bridget, their families, and his brother, John, will be celebrating his life and invite his friends to join us for a memorial service on Sunday, November 13, 2 p.m., at the Woody's Funeral Chapel on Parham Rd., Richmond, Va.
