Bill touched the lives of so many students at Virginia Commonwealth University for many years. Everyone has a Billy story. But, none so much as the Brothers of the VA Beta Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon. I graduated in 1976 and he is still with me -- the many talks we had - his positive and smiling attiude -- his whole being. He left his mark on so many, especially on me and VA Beta. I am so sad at the news, but also filled with smiles and the knowledge that a part of him lives in me and my brothers of VA Beta. Thanks Uncle Billy.

Wow, how saddened I am to hear this. My conversations with Bill and just enjoying his company will stay with me always. Godspeed Brother. -Ski (Va. Beta,1989)

My heart felt condolences. As you know your Uncle Bill meant a great deal to me. He was my teacher, mentor and dear friend. His youthful spirit and passion for life was infectious. His kind heart and spirited soul will be everlasting. I will miss you GA.

I have always remembered serving with you at the National Headquarter as a Field Secretary from July 1956 and beyond your departure from the West Franklin office. Your years with Uncle Billy and beyond set the course for SPE in many areas. Mespah, Brother.
