William Keesee Obituary

KEESEE William Dodson Keesee, 75, of Red Oak and formerly of Richmond, died January 8, 2007. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a retired employee of Virginia Power, and a member of First Baptist Church in Chase City. He was the widower of Jo Keesee and was also preceded in death by a son, Greg Keesee. He is survived by his son, and daughter-in-law, Will and Lucy Keesee of Richmond; brothers, Kenneth Keesee of Goldsboro, N.C.; Wayland Keesee of South Hill; sisters, Anne Campbell of Danville, Faye Howard of Roxboro, N.C., Phyllis Keesee of Richmond; grandchildren, Meagen, Chip, Kelsey, Randy and Josh Keesee. Friends may call at Wood Funeral Service, Chase City, 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at The Johns Family Cemetery, Red Oak, with the Rev. Gene Burris conducting the service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, Va. 23060.
