William Holliday Sparrow, 82, of Crozier, died December 3, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil; son, Gregory; sister, Mary; and parents, Martin and June. He is survived by his sons, Jeff (Annie) and Alex; grandsons, Ben and Andrew; and granddaughters, Audrey, Pippin, and Charlotte; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bliley's Funeral Home, 3801 Augusta Avenue, Richmond, Va., on December 19 at 11:30 a.m. The family will receive visitors beforehand beginning at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the Commonwealth Club in Richmond. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Doorways or Trinity Episcopal School.
