Beverly Kay Hackworth, age 77, of Cynthiana, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025, at home.
She was born on Jan. 1, 1948, in Chillicothe, Ohio, the daughter of Wilbur James and Lillian May (Thatcher) Younker.
She was a 1967 graduate of Western Latham High School and a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, James (Jennifer) Younker of Washington C.H., Timothy (Felicia) Hackworth of Waverly; two daughters, Jennifer Hackworth of Washington C.H., Penny (James) Carter of West Virginia; one stepson, Charlie (Kathy) Hackworth of Circleville; six grandchildren, Tyler, Casey, Mark, Mason, Joshia, Zaedien; four step grandchildren, Branson, Haley, Madison, Maceala; three great-grandchildren, Coleson, Declin, Karson; one sister, Edna Wesley of Latham; several nieces and nephews; mother of two of Beverly's grandchildren, Becky Williamson; mother of one grandchild, Donna Johns; father of two grandsons, Mark Clifford, Jr.; and long term caregiver and daughter from another mother, Sunny Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Hackworth, on July 9, 2001; one brother, Clyde Younker; two sisters, Edith Storey, Ruth Malone; and both parents.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Jay Fabin and Minister Charles Rickman, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Washburn Cemetery in Latham.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
