Charles Logan Willis, 88, of Greenfield, died at 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe.
He was born on Monday, July 31, 1933, in Lee County, Virginia, a son of the late Logan Charles and Becca Ann Goens Willis.
On Dec. 11, 1953, he married Phyllis P. Baxla and they shared more than 67 years together.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; one daughter, Sheri Sepulbado of Orange, Texas; one son, Chad Willis of Bainbridge; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Gladys (James) Pitstick of Xenia and Betty Childress of Blackwater, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Charles retired from Ferno-Washington with 43 years of service.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held later by his family.
