Leona Singleton Obituary

Leona G. Singleton, beloved mother and dedicated grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born on May 1, 1955, in Wilmington, Ohio, and spent her life bringing love and joy to those around her, especially her children, Philip (Kari) Singleton and Lora Dobbins. Leona is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Anna Mae (Weaver) Wolf.

Leona built a career as a meticulous auditor, where her keen attention to detail and unwavering dedication earned her the respect of her colleagues and clients alike. Beyond her professional life, Leona was known for her green thumb. She loved to garden and would often share the fruits of her labor with friends and family. Her nurturing spirit extended to her beloved cats, whom she cherished deeply and cared for with affection.

Besides her children, Leona leaves behind her three grandchildren, DeVaughn, Christopher and Lilli Dobbins and several cousins. Leona's legacy will be remembered through the love and laughter she shared with her family and friends. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be at noon on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery in Newtonsville.
