Lulubelle Teeters, 95, of Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, at Heartland of Hillsboro Skilled Nursing Center.
She was born on Jan. 4, 1926, in Highland County, the daughter of the late Benson E. Snider and Sarah (McConnaughey) Snider.
Lulubelle was a member of the Samantha Friends Church and she worked at Highland District Hospital for over 20 years. She attended the Penn Township Grade School and Hillsboro High School. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially mowing and doing yard work, but her true passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Lulubelle is survived by four children, Ben (Cathy) Teeters of Hillsboro, Linda (Jim) Duckwall of Hillsboro, Mike (LuAnn) Teeters of Hillsboro and Phil (Janice) Teeters of New Vienna; six grandchildren, Nathan (Lani) Teeters of Leesburg, Travis (Haley) Teeters of Leesburg, Melissa (Tony) Alfano of Charlotte, North Carolina, Brian (Brandi) Duckwall of Liberty Township, Kristy (Shane) Wilkin of Hillsboro and Erin Teeters of Cincinnati; nine great-grandchildren, Paige Teeters, Reese Teeters, Avery Teeters, Landry Teeters, Vincent Alfano, Alissa Alfano, Brent Duckwall, Piper Wilkin and Parker Wilkin; two siblings, Janice Teeters of Washington Court House and Richard Snider of Hillsboro; two sisters-in-law, Jean Snider of Rainsboro and Linda Snider of Seattle, Washington; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. Teeters, in 1997; two brothers, Warren "Bud" Snider and Robert "Bob" Snider; and a special brother-in-law, Dale Teeters.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. following visitation on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services in the Samantha Methodist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lulubelle's name to the Samantha Friends Church, c/o Rick Smith, 437 S. High St., Hillsboro, Ohio.
