Mildred I. "Mid" Wisecup, 89, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield.
She was born March 17, 1929 in Portsmouth, the daughter of Frank C. and Thelma V. (Pierce) Davis.
She was a member of the Greenfield First United Methodist Church and served as the former city tax administrator in Greenfield for approximately 20 years. Also, she assisted many with their income tax preparation and was the former owner/operator of Kosta Hair Dressers.
She is survived by one daughter, Saundra De Fosse (Donald) Wisecup of Murray, Ky.; one son, William Wisecup II of Greenfield; two stepsons, Steve (Teresa) Wisecup of Greenfield and Scott (Tammy) Wisecup of Bellview, Fla.; two grandchildren, Greg Wisecup of Greenfield and Lisa Wisecup of Murray, Ky.; three great-grandchildren, Caden, Tristen and Reagan Wisecup; five stepgrandchildren; 12 stepgreat-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth (Rita) Davis of South Shore, Ky.; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Erin Olaker and Mary Wireman of Greenfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Wisecup, on Aug. 28, 2008; two brothers, Richard and Ronald Davis; one sister, Thelma Brown; and both parents.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 27 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with pastor Kevin Hall and pastor Joe Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
