Anthony Bergandino Obituary

Anthony Bergandino, formerly of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. He was 86 years old. Born August 28, 1931 in Bridgeport, PA, he was the son of the late John and Rose (nee Branco) Bergandino and the beloved husband of the late Lillian (nee Giaimo). He was a teamster and worked at the former Fleming Foods in Oaks, PA. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, playing the organ and watching baseball and football. He was an avid and very patient fisherman. Mr. Bergandino is survived by his two sons; Harry Bergandino (Diane), and Anthony J. Bergandino (Patricia), eight grandchildren; Janelle, Kristine (Keith), John, Jr. (Brittany), Harry, Jr. (Elise), Steven, Michael, (Jocelyn), Dana (Tom) and Chris (Cherish), three great grandchildren; Lia, Adrianna, and Cameron, and his sister Ida Angelo. He was preceded in death by his son John A. Bergandino (Joanne), and his two brothers. Relatives and friends are invited to share in Mr. Bergandino’s Life Celebration on Wednesday January 24, from 10 to 10:50 AM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000. We met Tony last year at Sunrise in Lafayette Hill. He was a wonderful man who always had something kind to say. My mother and I will miss his jokes and smile.
