Berdelia June Dolan (nee Algeo), 84, of King of Prussia died peacefully at her residence in Brightview Senior Living in East Norriton on October 6, 2021. Born in Bryn Mawr in 1937, June is the daughter of Preston Lefevre “Bud” and Rachel (nee Miller) Algeo. She is the widow of Leo A. Dolan, Sr. and pre-deceased by her son Leo A. Dolan, Jr. (Kristen) and her daughter Laura June Spencer. She is survived by sons Michael (Kimberly) of Collegeville, Stephen (Cathy) of Plymouth Meeting, and daughter Mary Frances Ottinger (Greg) of Birdsboro. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Woodcock and Betsy McKeown of Ardmore, and brother Bill Algeo of Medford, NJ. June was the proud grandmother to 22 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. June was a long-term member of Mother of Divine Providence Parish in King of Prussia and was active in many parish clubs, activities and events through the years. She was also in the AOH Ladies Auxiliary. She was a proud graduate of Lower Merion High School where she played field hockey and basketball. June retired after a long career with Upper Merion Township. She also volunteered for decades to work at the polls on Election Day. June loved vacationing at the Jersey Shore, especially Sea Isle. She was an avid bowler and loved playing board games, doing crossword puzzles, and listening to music. She had the uncanny ability to name a song in two or three notes and usually knew all of the words! Relatives and friends are invited to June’s Life Celebration on Tuesday October 12, 2021 at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Life Celebration Home of East Norriton from 9-11 AM, followed by her service at 11 AM; interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
