Catherine Theresa Mieczkowski

Catherine Theresa Mieczkowski, age 85 of Conshohocken, died July 30, 2013 in Abington Hospital of Abington. Wife of the late Walter S. Mieczkowski. Born in Philadelphia, PA on November 11, 1927, daughter of the late Mary (Fafara) and Vincent Pasciak. Catherine has lived in Conshohocken since 1959, formerly of the Manayunk section of Philadelphia where she was born & raised. She was a member of St. Mary's RC Church of Conshohocken, Pa where she also was a member of the Golden Agers.She was a homemaker and also worked with J. E. Caldwell Jewelers in the Plymouth Meeting Mall Catherine is survived by a son, Daniel (Kathy) Mieczkowski of Plymouth Meeting; daughter, Gail Harkins of Conshohocken. Also survived by 3 Grandchildren Daniel Mieczkowski, Thomas Harkins, & Kristen Harkins, Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Lori Mieczkowski and a sister Dorothy Monastra. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. from the St. Mary's RC Church, Elm & Maple Streets, Conshohocken. Msgr. Gerard Mesure officiating. Friends may call Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. & Monday, August 5, 2013 from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
