Doris Marie Kulp

1931 - 2016

Doris Marie Kulp, 84, a lifelong resident of Lower Providence, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at Columbia Cottage. She was born to Mary (nee Achy) and Norman Kulp on June 18, 1931, weighing just over 4 pounds. She graduated from Norristown High School in 1949, and Penn State in 1953 with a degree in journalism. She worked for many years as a paralegal at Manning, Kinkead, Brooks and Bradbury law firm in Norristown. She was an active member of the Reformed Church of the Ascension, United Church of Christ, where she sang in the choir, and served on almost every committee ever formed. She was consistory president for many years, and was named trustee emeritus in 2015.
Doris is survived by her family, Ed Warner, Helen McDonald, Rev. Dwayne and Cindy Mosier, Hannah-Abigail, Sophia, Phoebe, Aaron, Lydia, and Esther Mosier.
Relatives and friends are invited to share in Doris' Life Celebration on Monday, Feb. 8, from 3 to 4:50 p.m. at Reformed Church of the Ascension, United Church of Christ, 1700 West Main St. Jeffersonville, Pa., followed by her funeral service at 5 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.
