Edward J. Keszczyk

Edward J. Keszczyk, age 85, of Swedesburg, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 17, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Swedesburg, Edward was the son of the late Joseph and the late Veronica (nee Kowalczyk) Keszczyk, the devoted husband for almost 60 years of Lorraine (nee Lovas) Keszczyk, the loving father of Matthew Keszczyk (Diane) of King of Prussia and Gerald Keszczyk (Maureen) of Gilbertsville and the proud grandfather of Brett and his wife Chandra, Joshua and his wife Lauren, Mia, Evan, Carley and Gena and the beloved brother of the late Joseph Keszczyk, Freda Albanese, the late Irene Sitarz and the late Eleanor Gleason. Mr. Keszczyk was a graduate of St. Matthew's High School and went on to become a very accomplished plumber. He owned and ran Swedesburg Plumbing and Heating for over 27 years. He was a life long member of Sacred Heart Church and a life member of their Holy Name Society, as well as working on the Polish Festival Committee for many years. He was also a member of the Montgomery County Plumbers Association and a life member of Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Company, where he was a Past Chief, Assistant Chief and member of their Board of Directors. He enjoyed his trips, beginning in 1987, and up until recently, to his house in Port Charlotte, Fl with his wife. He also liked to go hunting, fishing or playing a round of golf, but his favorite times were spent with family, especially his cherished grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson Street, Swedesburg, PA 19405, on Friday, March 24, where Edward's viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:20 a.m. followed by his Funeral Mass starting at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
