Edward Sherbert

Edward A. Sherbert 59, of Minneola, Florida formerly of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 3rd after a long illness. He is the son of Edward G. (deceased) and Virginia Sherbert of Plymouth Meeting, brother of Steven Sherbert, Fort Washington, Kenneth Sherbert(Inna) and Sandy Sherbert (deceased), long-time partner Margorie Tingley of Florida and uncle of Karis Sherbert of Conshohocken. Ed is a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, Penn State University with a BA degree in fine arts and the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Arizona. He went on to teach and mentor students at the Florida facility for over ten years. He owned five aquariums which he tended lovingly. Since he lived near a lake and fishing was good he began an interest in boat building. He also began to enter Clermont art shows gaining recognition from the community and several ribbons in the process. Facebook was his favorite way to keep in touch with family and friends. He also kept up his interest in music and his guitar. Friends and family may share in a celebration of his life on Saturday morning January 6th at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 3050 Walton Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462, from 9:45 AM to 10:20 AM. His memorial mass will begin at 10:30 AM followed by internment at Calgary Cemetery, Gulf and Matsonford Road, Wes Conshohocken, PA 19428. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Children’s Hospital, Philadelphia in his name.
