Elizabeth Christine Harrell of Norristown Elizabeth Christine Harrell (Jones), 84, died Tues. May 6th, at her home in Norristown. She was born May 31, 1929 in Norristown, Pa., daughter of the late Clarence W. and Elizabeth (Callahan) Jones. She was the wife of the late James Harrell. She attended Norristown Schools. Mrs. Harrell worked for the Norristown State Hospital, Philco Ford Electronics, Spring House Estates Nursing Home, Ridgeway Phillip Nursing Home and was a crossing guard for the Norristown area. She was a member of Mt. Pisqah #85 O.E.S. and a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, where she enjoyed singing on many of the choirs. Surviving are two daughters, Betty Barber and Kim Lindsey (Steven); three sons, James Harrell (Kyung), Anthony Harrell and Aubrey Harrell; a brother, Clarence Jones (Emily); three sisters, Isabell Crocker, Catherine Robinson (Bishop Harvey E.) and Ruth Ellis; and a very special cousin, Ronald Fishter (Dorothy); 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a son, Alphonso Harrell and a cousin, Betty Gresham. Funeral services are going to be held Thurs. May 15th at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, 1312 Willow St., Norristown. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia. www.richardjohnsonfuneralhome.com
