1944 - 2022

Elizabeth Scott (Shaw) Strickland, April 26, 1944 to February 27th, 2022. Beth was a sweet, peaceful and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Great Aunt, Cousin and Friend. Beth is survived by her Husband, Thomas F. Strickland, Jr. of Collegeville, PA; her Daughter, Susan E. Strickland Rosone & her namesake Granddaughter, Elizabeth Shaw Rosone of Phoenixville, PA; and her Best Friend since 3rd grade, Joan Rung of Norristown, PA. She graduated from A.D. Eisenhower Senior High School in 1962, where she was Captain of the Cheerleading Team and Homecoming Queen. Beth then graduated from Pierce College in 1963 and was the President of Pi Rho Alpha Sorority and Queen of the Fraternity Ball. She retired from AT&T after 31 years of service and was a faithful member of Lower Providence Presbyterian Church for 70+ years. Donations may be given in her name to the Lower Providence Presbyterian Church or The American Diabetes Association. The Celebration of Beth’s Life will take place at the Lower Providence Presbyterian Church, 3050 Ridge Pike, Norristown, PA 19403 on Friday, April 22, 2022. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at 10:00 AM at the church, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.
