Elsie V. (Wagner) Eckman of King of Prussia Elsie V. (Wagner) Eckman passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 93. Mrs. Eckman worked for 30 years as a secretary for the Valley Forge Historical Society. She was a member of the Christ Church UCC in Norristown, PA. Elsie was also a charter member and former vice-president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company. Born in Reading, PA on September 25, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Emil H. and Elsie (Grund) Wagner. Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Shirley J. Gray of King of Prussia, PA; 1 step-son and 4 step-daughters; 2 grandsons, James A. Gray and Dean P. Gray; 5 great-grand-children: Danielle, Matthew, Andrew, Lauren & Spencer; and 1 nephew and 1 niece. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 47 years, Earl B. Eckman and her second husband of 26 years, Alfred DiNenno; 2 sisters, Ruth Steffie and Vera Smith. Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elsie's memory to Christ Church UCC, 1003 Marshall St., Norristown, PA 19401-4218.
