Helen E. (Frame) Hunsberger, 97, formerly of Trappe and Norristown, died Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Frederick Living Upper Frederick Twp. For 77 years she was the wife of John S. Hunsberger who died April 7th. Helen was born on January 6, 1924, in Norristown, to the late Harold and Rosetta (Clower) Frame. She was a graduate of Norristown High School. Before retiring, Helen was a secretary for the Perkiomen Valley School District at Collegeville-Trappe (now South) Elementary School and then the district office. Helen was a member of the former Norristown Schwenkfelder Church and now the Olivet-Schwenkfelder United Church Of Christ where she sang in the choir for many years. Helen is survived by her children, Thomas, husband of Cynthia (Scott) Hunsberger, Dagsboro, DE, Dennis, husband of the late Catherine (Gazzillo) Hunsberger, Lincroft, NJ, and Susan, wife of Robert Johnston, Collegeville; her grandchildren, Cara (Hunsberger), wife of Vincent Falivene, Christine Hunsberger, Elizabeth (Hunsberger), wife of Mark Christine, Kimberly Hunsberger, Matthew Hunsberger, Brandon Johnston, Sean, husband of Ashley (Pultorak) Johnston, Jennifer (Hunsberger), wife of Phil Davis, and Gayle Hunsberger; her great-grandchildren, Harper Falivene, Lukas Falivene, Isabelle Davis, Gabriella Davis, and Anthony Davis; and her brother, Ronald, husband of Lorie Frame, Lower Providence Twp. The Hunsberger family would like to express their gratitude to Seasons Hospice and the staff of Frederick Living for their loving care of our mother during this extremely difficult time. We would also like to thank the Chestnut Knoll At Home staff for years of helping Mom. Some of these kind, caring professionals even formed lasting friendships with Mom and were especially important over the last years of her life. We are truly grateful. A graveside service for the public will begin at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 4th, in Riverside Cemetery, 200 S. Montgomery Ave. Norristown, PA 19403. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Olivet-Schwenkfelder UCC, 619 Township Line Rd., Norristown, PA 19403. Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe.
