Larry Werkheiser Obituary

Larry Werkheiser Larry K. Werkheiser, 72 of Norristown, died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at his home in Norristown. Husband of Joyce (Brown) Werkheiser. Born in Upper Darby on February 14, 1938, son of the late Beatrice (Miller) and Lundy Werkheiser. Larry lived in Norristown for many years, formerly of Bloomsburg. He attended the First Baptist Church of Norristown. He was a graduate of Penn State University. He worked as a Dairy and Frozen Foods Manager with the Mad Grocer. He was a former secretary for Manuer Chor Club in Norristown. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Gina Krause of Limerick; son, Gary Werkheiser of Hollywood, CA; five step children; four grandchildren; ten step grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; and two step great great grandchildren. His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 8 at 11 a.m. from the First Baptist Church of Norristown, 445 Burnside Ave., Norristown with Rev. Kelly Legg officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment private. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to First Baptist Church of Norristown, 445 Burnside Ave., Norristown, PA 19403. Larry was one of my roomates for a time at Kappa Sigma/Penn State.
We always had a good time and my regret is that we did not share
