Louis DePaul Obituary
Lou was a life-long resident of the Norristown area and attended St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Lou worked for Philadelphia Gear Corp., was the owner of the former Jack's Tavern of Conshohocken, and in semi-retirement as a bus driver for First Student and Balgo. He enjoyed bowling at Facenda Whittaker Lanes. Lou was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and has been a season ticket holder since 1963.
He is the son of the late Dominick L. and Sophie V. (Nepolitan) DePaul.
Survivors include his wife, Linda N. Freedman of Norristown; daughter, Regina DePaul of West Chester; son, Louis A. (& Kathy) DePaul of Norristown; son, Stephen DePaul of Norristown; daughter, Daria (& Greg) Finney of Douglassville; sister, Stephanie DePaul of Norristown; brother, Dominick DePaul of Plymouth Meeting. Lou has seven grandchildren: Paul and Lisa Imburgia, Alisha and Mark DePaul, Steve DePaul, Alessia and Amaria Finney; two nephews: Nicholas and Brian Savine; and niece: Victoria Freedman.
Along with his parents, Lou was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Ann DePaul.
His Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at 11:00 AM from the St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, Marshall St. At Buttonwood Street, Norristown, PA 19401. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the church. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Diabetes Assn, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.

Dom, I am so very sorry to read of the loss of your brother Lou. Although I didn't know him I'm sure he was as fine a man as your Dad. I realize that this is such a difficult time for you (my brother Jack passed away in 2014) and wish there was something I could say or do to lighten your grief but I know that it isn't possible. I knew Lou from bowling and I enjoyed talking Eagles every Monday morning. I hope he knew that his beloved Eagles finally won the super bowl. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May Lou Rest In Peace.

I am so deeply sorry to all the family of Lou. I have known Lou for more than 35 years and have shared in so many adventures with Lou. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. Hard to believe u are gone. God Bless all his family.
