Margaret Mary Knapp of Worcester passed away at home on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Margie was retired from her longtime position as bookkeeper at the Norristown Times Herald and a member of the Mercy Suburban Hospital Auxiliary. She was an avid baseball fan, playing 2nd base during a memorable Phillies Dream Week. Margie was born on September 18, 1939, in Norristown to the late Walter J. and Margaret (McGarry) Knapp. She is survived by a sister Francesmarie Shoemaker; a brother, James Knapp; and many nieces and nephews. Her sister, Mary G Stimmler and brother, Walter Knapp Jr, preceded her in death. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, September 27 th at 10am in Visitation BVM Lower Church 196 N Trooper Rd., Norristown, Pa 19403. Friends may call from 9 to 9:50 am at the church. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Margie’s name may be made to The Seeing Eye, P.
