Dear Mr. DiGiovanni, You have my deepest sympathy at the loss of Maris. We didn't see each other often as we are from opposite ends of the state. She never passed me without giving me a hug and saying she was really happy to see me. The feeling was mutual. What a happy, smiling person she was. I'll certainly miss seeing her at OES functions. She was the light of every room she walked into, the radiant glow of her beauty and generosity infusing spirit into the souls of those around her. She made you feel better just by being in her presence, and happy for having spent time with her. Even her handwriting would cheer you up. Her generosity was boundless. Our lives were touched by this angel, who left too soon to be with the other angels. I miss you Maris. And I thank you Al for having brought her into our lives.

Dear Al, I am writing this with such a heavy heart after just speaking with you a couple hours ago and learning of Maris' passing. She was such a wonderful friend to me these last 40 years, never forgetting anyone's birthday. She took me under her wings when I first started at The Budd Company in 1971 and she never let go!! I will miss her greatly and my heart is full of holes. Love, Karen Clymer

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone here for their kind expressions of sympathy. And for those who were able to attend Maris' viewing and/or funeral services, thank you for taking the time to honor her life.

Maris certainly was more than a wife to me - she had so many facets to her vibrant personality. I will always remember her passion for life, her commitment to others, her boundless generosity, her faithfulness and love and her devotion to the Lord. She lived every day of her life in active service to God, living by the words she read every single day in the Bible.

She is now where she's always wanted to be since the age of 14. May God welcome her with open arms into His Kingdom.

I was very privileged to have had her in my life for 48 years, watching her develop from a young girl into a mature, loving and generous woman. I thank God for bringing her into my life and for shaping my love for the Lord.

Please keep us all in your prayers, including Maris as we all move into a new phase of life.

Thank you,
Al

Dear Al, my heartfelt condolences upon Maris' sudden passing. She was one of the kindest and most giving persons I have ever met and I loved her dearly. Our paths met at Budd Philly, and she opened her heart to me to welcome me into the Budd family. Maris was truly One-of-a-Kind, She was a loving and caring person that put everyone else first. I knew Maris for almost all of my 36 years with the Budd Co. and I don't think there is one person of the many thousands that went through its doors during Maris' tenure, that didn't know and consider her a friend. This world is a little less bright because she has gone Home I know Heaven is now a lot brighter and she is again with many of her friends and family.

Al, Carol and I are so sad for your loss. All we can say is you must have many, many happy and certainly unique experiences to reflect upon and how lucky you were to have shared your life with such a wonderful person.

With our deepest sympathy,
Bill and Carol Cochran
