Mark Romano Obituary

Mark Carmen Romano, 53, of King of Prussia passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Born in Norristown on September 28, 1964, he was the son of Marie (Beatrice) Romano, and the late Joseph C. Romano, and the loving husband of Sandy (Riss) Romano. Mark was a graduate of East Stroudsburg University where he received his bachelor’s degree and would later go on to work for Joerns Healthcare Medical Supplies for many years. In his spare time Mark loved spending time at his mountain house in the Poconos, as well riding his motorcycle and working on them whenever he had the chance; He was also an avid musician and a talented drummer. Mark was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, and dear friend to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and he will be missed by many. In addition to his loving wife Sandy, Mark is survived by his son Zachary Romano; three siblings, Lisa (Thomas) Crennan, of Pottstown; Joseph C. Romano Jr., of Collegeville; JoAnn (Todd) Thorpe, of Wayne; three loving nieces and nephews, Erin Matthews, Lauren Scotti, and Anthony Raymond Riss IV; and two brother in-laws, Anthony Raymond Riss III, and Mark Anthony Riss. In addition to his father, Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carmen & Marcella Romano, and his mother and father-in-law Eleanor Mae & Anthony Raymond Riss II. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 7, 2017, from 9 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holy Savior Church, 407 E. Main St., Norristown, PA 19401. A funeral mass will follow the calling time at 11 AM at the church. Burial will take place in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery. East Norriton PA. 19403. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association/Bright Focus Foundation, 22512 Gateway Center Drive Clarksburg, MD 20871. Mark aka "RifRaf" was a fun, crazy, family loving man.
I was very blessed to have know him. He will be missed by all.
