Alex and Sandy:
You guys would not remember me but I am one of Betty Elsasser's nieces (one of your mom's friends) and we just found out about your mom's passing. I just wanted to share a memory of your mom that my sister Debbie and I share. "Back in the day" your mom was so cool (not that she still wasn't but it has been a long time since I have seen her) she drove a convertible; we were thrilled when she asked us if we wanted a ride in it with her; we were thrilled as we were only 8 and 10 years old (or maybe younger). We wanted her to take us home with her. Please know I have fond memories of her and just wanted to let you know she was special to me and my family.

There are no words to describe what a wonderful person Nancy was. From being the special kind of friend you only find , that one in a million to being the adoptive mother of all the friends of her children. My love and prayers go out to Alex and Sandy and their families. There will never be another like her. She will be sadly missed!Love, JoAnne Wilby-Hoy
