Peter Anthony Helfrich Jr.
Peter Anthony Helfrich, Jr., 69, of Skippack, peacefully passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 in Phoenixville, PA. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Colgrove) Helfrich, a faithful father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He leaves behind many wonderful memories of special places and times shared together. Born July 29, 1952, in Rockville Center, NY, he was a son of the late Peter A. Helfrich, Sr. and Martha (Ladd) Helfrich. Mr. Helfrich was a graduate of York College in 1974 earning his Bachelors in Business Management. Peter attended Bethel Hill Methodist Church where he and Nancy where married. He was Vice President of Operations with U.S. Restaurants in Blue Bell, Pa. His leadership role spanned throughout the country enabling successful company expansion and numerous employee growth. Before retiring in 2016, he also established 20 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants. Peter was an avid travel enthusiast who enjoyed gourmet cooking, gardening, skiing, golf, and friendly competition as a member of the Skippack Bocce League. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 2 children Erika Leigh Helfrich Truffer and her husband, Christopher, of Mt. Airy, MD., Adam James Helfrich, of Boulder, Co; his siblings Linda Joan Helfrich, Cheryl Wasley, Gerald Arthur Helfrich; his beloved grandchildren, Shiloh Jane and Jonathan Ezra Truffer; and his nephews Henry and Leo Helfrich. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 11:30am on Wednesday October 27, 2021, at Bethel Hill United Methodist Church, 2000 Bethel Rd. Lansdale, PA 19446.
