Having moved away from the area in 1968, I hadn't seen Bob since graduation from PW High School. I am very sorry to hear about his passing.
I will always remember him as that sweet young man who was brave enough to work next to me in Chemistry lab. What a great loss he will obviously be for the community he served so well during his life with his volunteer work.

My family has lived up Hallowell Street from Bob for over 20 years. My husband, Joe, and Bob would often see and each other outside and chat. He was always around to help us fix things, and we always needed the help and we appreciated it so much. Having a hard time believing I won't walk by "the shop" and see him standing there. We will miss you Bob.

I was quite saddened to learn of Bob's unexpected passing. He was a most wonderful, kind and honest man. He was dedicated to his family, his community and his school district. Bob was always a joy to work with - nothing was ever too much trouble or too difficult. It was truly my pleasure and privilege to have known Bob. My sincerest sympathy and prayers go out to his wonderful family. He will be missed terribly but what an incredible legacy he has left behind.

To Peggy and the O'Neill Family. We were very surprised and quite saddened to learn of Bob's passing. Bob and I worked at C&D Batteries (later C&D Technologies) for well over 25 years. Bob worked in the Manufacturing Engineering Group and supported C&D and myself with Specialized Tooling for Projects that I managed. I remember Bob and I making a trip to Attica and Brookston Indiana where he handled the creation of Specialized Tools for a Satellite Plant located in Brookston, Indiana. I had the sincere pleasure of meeting you and the children when I came to pick-up Bob at the house and fly out to Indiana together. I also remember you when we attended the many C&D Christmas Parties and Company Functions. I am so great full to have had the fond memories and pleasure of knowing and working with Bob. He will be sorely missed at the Alumni Reunions we've been attending over the years. Our Prayers are with you all. I do plan to say goodbye to Bob tomorrow and he'll always be kept in our presence especially at the C&D gatherings. Respectfully yours, Bill Kopf/C&D Manager

Our heartfelt condolences to Peggy and family on the loss of Bob, who was a co-worker and dear friend since the 70s. We are so pleased to have had the opportunity to visit with Bob and Peggy and our other close friends whilst on vacation in PA in August. It was a time for sharing memories, stories and good times past. We are deeply saddened and our hearts are heavy to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.
