Sandra Byerly Obituary

Sandra (Sandy) Dolores Rubando Byerly, 78, passed away on August 15, 2021 in Orlando, Florida. She was born to the late Anna C. Kukulka and Thomas P. Rubando on October 11, 1942 in Trenton, New Jersey, lived most of her life in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania and recently moved to Orlando, Florida. Sandy is survived by her siblings and her children Sharon Byerly and Denise Senk, Lisa Byerly and Kevin Williams, Tommy and Shellie Byerly, and her grandchildren Mark Dann, and Billy and Lilly Byerly. Sandy was a graduate of Gwynedd Mercy Academy in 1960 and Montgomery County Community College in 1981. She worked and retired from AT&T. She was a member of the St. Philip Neri R.C. Church of Lafayette Hill, St. Mary’s Golden Age Club of Conshohocken, the Conshohocken Fellowship House Senior Group, West Conshohocken Hometowners, and Pennsylvania State Fire Police Association. In 1961, Sandy became a volunteer with the Barren Hill Fire Company.  She volunteered for over 60 years, became a Lifetime Member, and served as the Secretary, Fire Police, and Ladies Auxiliary positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Trustee and started the BHFCO Ladies Auxiliary Poker Club. In 2007, Sandy also became a volunteer with the Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Police Association. She volunteered for over 14 years, became a Lifetime Member and served as the Assistant Recording Secretary, a delegate to the Montgomery County Firemen’s Association and Montgomery County Fire Chiefs Association. She enjoyed family and friend time, playing games especially Bingo (Quack, Quack), watching Nascar, the color purple and butterflies. A Celebration of Life remembrance event is being planned for the future.  Additional details will follow. My heart is I just found out this very moment today that Sandy passed away in August . We were coworkers at AT&T for many years. We reconnected on Facebook and we both were so happy! I loved Sandy, she was a joy to work with and I thank God for the wonderful gift of memories!!! She'll definitely be miss!!! I send my deepest sympathy to her family and friends
