Albert Donald Scott, 79, of Vallejo, passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, Oct. 8. He was born July 19, 1934 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Albert Eddie Scott and the late Viorst L. Scott. He lived in Vallejo for 37 years. He also served in the Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas as a Communications Technician. He worked for 37 years for The City of San Francisco as a Chef at Laguna Honda Hospital, San Francisco Juvenile Hall, San Francisco Sheriff's Department, and San Francisco General Hospital, where he retired on Feb. 6, 1998. After retirement he took a Managerial position at Taco Bell in Santa Rosa, ran the Kitchen at Rancho Solano, in Fairfield, and finally ran the Maintenance Department at Target in Vallejo. He was a very active participant in the Community of Vallejo, also a Lifetime Member of the Filipino Community of Solano County Inc., and a Licensed HAM radio operator (WA6JYG). 
He is survived by his wife, Eloise Escano Scott, whom he married Dec.13, 1975; his children, John Escano Scott, Jaclyn Mariah Scott, Stephanie Miller and her husband, Brett Miller, and Eileen Clemons and her husband Arnold Clemons; six grandchildren, Jocelyn Alexis Scott, Jaelon-Rider Scott, Juliet Victoria Scott, Nickolas Miller, Julia Clemons, and Jamila Clemons.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Thursday, Oct. 17 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a vigil at 7 p.m., on Thursday at Skyview Memorial Lawn, 200 Rollingwood Drive, in Vallejo.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, Oct. 18 at 11 a.m., at St. Basil the Great Roman Catholic Church, 1200 Tuolumne St., in Vallejo.
Burial with Military Honors will follow at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd., in Dixon.
