Alfredo L. Guevarra
July 23, 1931 - Nov. 2, 2008

Alfredo L. Guevarra, 77, of Philadelphia, MS, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 2, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center, Meridian, Miss. A son of Don Eulalio Fernandez Guevara and Sra. Corona Lomibao Guevara, both predeceased, of San Carlos City, Pangasinan.

Alfredo was a long-time resident of the Bay Area, a Korean War veteran and a chemical engineer, graduate of Adamson University, Philippines. He was a retired chemical engineer for Fuller O'Brien Corp., a chief chemist of Flecto Co. and a lifetime member of the Filipino Professional Association.

He is survived by his wife, Dr. Victoria Guevarra of Mississippi, three children, Leslie, Lisa and Alfred; grandson Max of Bay Area; his sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces and his step-mother.

A memorial service will be held at St. Vincent Church, 2823 Sonoma Blvd., Vallejo at 3:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 14. Following will be a reception at Reena's Garden Restaurant, 3611 Sonoma Blvd., Vallejo. Please join the family and friends in their tribute to Alfredo.

Our favorie time with Uncle Fred was watching and laughing while he and Barrett watched the Pink Panther movie over and over. We willl miss you.
