Ashley Lynn Penrose
In the early hours of May 26, 2021, Ashley Lynn Penrose passed away peacefully in Vallejo, CA. A passionate and devoted wife, daughter, sister, auntie and friend, Ashley worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Anna Kyle Elementary School, helping countless children to overcome communication challenges.Ashley was a uniquely empathetic person who was involved in many local book clubs, as well as being a beautiful writer, amazing cook, and graceful hostess. She was also a valuable mentor to new Speech-Language Pathologists, and a stalwart advocate for colleagues who, like her, had dedicated their lives to the noble goal of helping everyone to be able to communicate.Ashley is survived by her loving husband, Corey Penrose; mother and stepfather, Cheryle and Wayne Yost; siblings, Grady Sellards and Heather Adams; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Ashley was preceded in death by her father, Henry Sellards. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Buckingham Clubhouse, 2850 East Lake Dr., Kelseyville, CA 5491. Please RSVP Here:
