Darrell Garrett Obituary

Oct. 27, 1961 - Feb. 26, 2011

Darrell was born on Oct. 27, 1961 in Vallejo, Calif., to Chillis and Yvonne Nickelberry. He later resided with Mr. and Mrs. Garrett in Richmond.

Darrell was preceded in death by his brother, Erick Silas.

He is survived by his mother, Yvonne, and stepfather, Steve Russ, of Vallejo; son, Darrell Garrett Jr. of Richmond; daughters, Kendra and Tracy Garrett of Richmond; brothers, Vincent Nickelberry of Vallejo, Omenza Dale Broomfield of Fairfield, Derwin Nickelberry of Vallejo, Chillis III Nickelberry and Jay Silas of Tacoma, Wash.; sisters, Desiree Nickelberry of Fairfield, Lawanda Clark and Brenda R. Nickelberry of Tacoma, and Amber Nickelberry of Klein, Texas; grandchildren, Danielle, Shanelle and Diabian; a host of nieces, nephews, doctors and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.

Sunday, March 6, at the Unified Christian Fellowship Church, 1390 E. Tabor Ave., Fairfield.
