Gary Kautzman Obituary

June 19, 1949 - Nov. 23, 2005

Gary "Frisco Gary" E. Kautzman, 56, of Penryn died at home Wednesday.

Frisco Gary was born and raised in San Francisco. At the age of 17 he became a proud Marine and served his country in Vietnam. He was a 30-year ex-member of the Hells Angels motorcycle club. In his life he did many incredible things; he built and ran Frisco Choppers, previously owned Terrible Teri's Tavern and Mangia Benes Italian Deli.

In 2003 he retired to the small town of Penryn, where he learned the joys of owning tractors, horses, chickens, two dogs and an attack rooster. Although he was short in stature, when you met him, you knew you met a very tall man! Gary will be missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Theresa "Terrible Teri" Porreco; his daughter, Tina Kautzman; son, Gary Kautzman Jr.; and stepson, Thomas Dingle.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at 1801 El Dorado St., Vallejo. Inurnment will be private. Contributions may be made to Teri Porreco, who can be reached at (916) 300-6481. Arrangements are under the direction of Colonial Chapels, Vallejo.
