Geronimo Romero Obituary
Geronimo Alonzo Romero, 65, went to be with the Lord on May 29, he was surrounded by his family. Geronimo was born on March 23, 1950 in Las Cruces, NM, a son to Alonzo and Guadalupe Romero. They preceded him in death.
Geronimo moved to the Los Angeles area in the early 1970's where he worked as a carpenter. Geronimo later moved to the Bay Area and had his own business Geronimo Construction Company. He worked in this industry for 30 years. Geronimo loved his family and was a very active member of The Church on the Hill in Vallejo.
Geronimo is survived by his daughter, Karineh Romero-Sprinkle, children, Deidre, Levi and Arick all of Apple Valley; three sons, David Romero, Las Vegas, NV, Jared Romero Richmond, and Niko Romero, (Jessica), children, Geovanni and Jenisa all of Vallejo; three brothers, Fredrick Romero, (Julia), children, Mayumi, all of Sacramento, Daniel Romero (Lori), children, Ashley and Melissa all of Hercules, Alonzo Romero Jr, children, Alonzo III and Kimberly all of Oahu, HI; three sisters, Marguerite Axworthy (Matthew), children, Lauren and Valerie all of San Leandro, JoyAnn Lucero (Pete), children, Justine, Marisela, Petie, Yessina and Sophia, all of Las Cruces, NM, Annette Romero-Salas, (Noel), children, Alejandro (AJ), Arthur (Tudy) and Raelene all of Las Cruces, NM and his step-mother, Elisa Romero Las Cruces NM. Geronimo has many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
A Celebration of Geronimo's life will be held on June 13, at 9 a.m. at Church on the Hill, 210 Locust Drive, Vallejo.
