Jesse Lujan Foley
Jesse Foley, 46 years old, passed away unexpectedly on September 24. He was a longtime resident of San Anselmo, where he moved after growing up in Vallejo, CA. Jesse, born November 5, 1974, is the eldest son of Karen and Andy Foley. Jesse attended Beverly Hills Elementary School, Federal Terrace Elementary School, Vallejo Middle School, and St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School. Jesse has been a scholar throughout his entire life. During those school years Jesse was also a competitive athlete in football, wrestling, and soccer. He excelled in all areas, and senior year he made it to the California State Wrestling Championships. Jesse breezed through his college classes while still finding time to work and wrestle for Skyline College with his younger brother, Stefan.Jesse had a passion for travel and outdoor adventures. In 2013, he decided to travel across the world to sightsee and explore, where he ended up meeting the love of his life, Sandra. Jesse and Sandra's paths crossed, and they were inseparable from that moment. Sandra surely complemented Jesse's personality. With her by his side, you could see the incredible joy in his eyes, pure happiness. She completed him.Jesse worked as an Infrastructure Architect for Morrison and Foerster out of San Francisco for the last 20+ years. When not dedicated to his career, he enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with his wife, friends, and his best wolf dogs, Lycaon and Shadow. Jesse loved his adrenaline; he enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, motorcycles, racing, target practice, hunting, and snowboarding.Jesse was full of life and taken from us too soon. His energy would light up a room in seconds and he would drop everything for you if you needed help. His intelligence was beyond many; Jesse could study any subject for 10 minutes and then be able to teach a crash course on it. He was a very confident leader, a devoted husband, a wonderful son, brother, and uncle. Jesse was predeceased by his mother, Karen Foley; grandparents Pop and Gina Wagner; and his best friend and dog, Lycaon. He is survived by his wife of eight years, Sandra Foley; father, Andy Foley (Beda); grandmother, Alvina Foley; brother, Stefan Foley (Lindsay); nephews, Triston and Stefan Jr; brother, Brent Foley (Kristina); nieces, Karina and Mays Foley. Jesse is survived by a large extended family and he will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 23, 1 to 3 p.m., at St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School Cafeteria, 1500 Benicia Road, Vallejo CA 94591.

Andy & Family, I was sorry to learn of the loss of your son. It's hard to see someone pass at such a young age. I live in Vallejo and was your next door neighbor in Daly City over 50 years ago. May God comfort you and your family during this solemn time. James
