A genuine friend on Marin Street. Sometimes share a cup of coffee. Always helpful in a professional way. We will miss John and stories of New Bedford.

Dear John Francis Demello, On behalf of our grateful Nation, we thank and honor you for your Service, Valor, and Sacrifice. You answered our beloved country´s call to duty in the United States Armed Forces in September 1940, and you proudly served with patriotism, distinction, and honor through World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. We also thank your family and friends for the sacrifices they made during and after your military service. Thank you for your loyalty, dedication to duty, and selfless service for our great Nation. You are an inspiration to all Service members, Veterans, and Americans. May you rest in eternal peace and may God bless you and your family always!
