Justin Nunes Obituary
Justin David Nunes, 35, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of natural causes Monday night while attending the Golden State Warriors playoff game at Oracle Arena in Oakland with his dad.
Justin was born April 14, 1981 to David and Sharon Nunes in Vallejo. He was a lifelong resident attending and graduating from Vallejo schools. He worked as an operating engineer and a carpenter. Justin was an avid Golden State Warriors, San Francisco 49ers and Oakland A's fan. He enjoyed karaoke, and spending time with his son and his dad.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chuck and Bonnie Smith; and his grandfather, Jim "Dudley" Reeves.
Survivors include his wife, Amber Nunes of Vallejo; son, David James "Keoni" Nunes of Vallejo; mother, Sharon Nunes of Vacaville; father, David Nunes of Vallejo; sister, Dana Nunes of Vallejo; grandmother, Jean Reeves of Vallejo; and numerous family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 22 at Twin Chapels Mortuary, 1100 Tennessee St., Vallejo. Inurnment will be private.

I will never forget you my friend. I pray for your family and hope God embraces them during this difficult time. I saw you for the last time a few weeks before at an A's game. You were happy as usual and we greeted each other like we normally did at games. You are gone but not forgotten my friend.

We mourn with those that mourn. We rejoice with those that rejoice. Vallejo mourns for Justin but we will next week rejoice for the gifts this "Vallejo Kid" brought to the game. Home grown. No one that you loved or loved you Justin will ever be the same.

There isn't enough words to express the sympathy I have for you all. This is so heartwrenching and sad. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
I honestly don't like it when people say "He is in a better place", what better place could you be in then with your family and especially your mother and child?
