It's that time of year. My birthday is soon and your passing is so on my mind. Our connection in grammar school and thru the many years are still not 'understanding' to me. But I DO TREASURE them. I miss your guidance and encouragement and of course, the good ole days in high school. May you be at peace, my love.

Your Daughter

November 10, 2014

Tomorrow will be one year that you have been gone. I will never forget that day, getting that phone call that has changed my life in ways I could have never prepared myself for. So many people have left wonderful comments Papa. You truly were loved by many. I miss you, I miss you dearly. I wish I could call you, just once to hear your voice, for you to call me sweetie. It made me feel so good inside. The last year has been hard. It's hard closing ones life of 63 years. I've cried, struggled, and overcame things I never thought possible. SO as I reflect on the last year I know one thing for sure, I miss my Dad. I love you Papa, until we meet again may peace be with you always. Love Susie

Still missing you and talking about our good times with your many other close friends. You and I, fast friends since the first day we met, but that was a common theme for all that crossed your path! I expect that the 49ers are winning all the super bowls where you're at! Peace my brother!

I am so sorry for your loss. Larry and I went to grammar, junior high, and high school together. We were friends and he walked me home when I lived on Alabama street. When I called him at home, it drove his Mother crazy and as kids, we thought it was a riot! We lost touch over the years, but he was a 'Good Guy' who will be missed.

Hey bro, you will be sadly missed. I just found out today from my dad. It's funny how life works; for years we're as close as brothers can be, full of good times (great memories} and the not so good. Then I move away and lose contact. But, rest assured, you've always been in my thoughts and prayers, as though we never lost touch. You will forever be my bro, we always had each others back.

Those we love must someday pass beyond our present sight...
Must leave us and the world we know without their radiant light.
But we know that like a candle their lovely light will surely shine to brighten up another place more perfect... more divine. And in the realm of Heaven where they shine so warm and bright. Our loved ones live forevermore in God's eternal light.
