Larry Barbieri Obituary
Larry was born to Thomas and Angie Barbieri and has lived in Vallejo the past 50 years. He worked in the Health and Safety Department at Shell Oil Refinery for 35 years. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers and Giants fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Danyial (Richard) Merriam; son, Brandon (Erin); grandchildren, Malik and Giovanni; brother, Mike; aunt, Adeline Varni; and his niece, Amber.
A memorial Mass will be held 11 a.m., Friday at St. Basil's Catholic Church, 1230 Nebraska St., Vallejo. Inurnment will be private at All Souls Catholic Cemetery, Vallejo.

It's been so long.....but my heart still aches about your passing. Every time I brush my teeth, I think of us running at Highland School after each other, and I chipped my front tooth at the drinking fountain!! So....Larry you'll ALWAYS be with me..................Love you MY FRIEND

It's that time of year. My birthday is soon and your passing is so on my mind. Our connection in grammar school and thru the many years are still not 'understanding' to me. But I DO TREASURE them. Tomorrow will be one year that you have been gone. I will never forget that day, getting that phone call that has changed my life in ways I could have never prepared myself for. So many people have left wonderful comments Papa. You truly were loved by many. I miss you, I miss you dearly. I wish I could call you, just once to hear your voice, for you to call me sweetie. It made me feel so good inside. The last year has been hard. It's hard closing ones life of 63 years. I've cried, struggled, and overcame things I never thought possible. I am so sorry for your loss. Larry and I went to grammar, junior high, and high school together. We were friends and he walked me home when I lived on Alabama street. When I called him at home, it drove his Mother crazy and as kids, we thought it was a riot! We lost touch over the years, but he was a 'Good Guy' who will be missed.

I first met Larry during my initial trainning as a new hire at Shell Oil, Martinez in 1988. He was larger than life and had a sense of humor just as big. Thank you for the valuable life experience. You will never be forgotten, rest in peace my friend.

Hey bro, you will be sadly missed. I just found out today from my dad. It's funny how life works; for years we're as close as brothers can be, full of good times (great memories} and the not so good.
