Lisa Akaba Obituary
Lisa Henderson Akaba, 50, of Benicia passed away Wednesday at her home following a long illness.
She was born in Stuttgart, Germany and has lived in Benicia for the past 10 years.
Lisa was predeceased by her daughter, Annabelle and her mother, Barbara Henderson.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Mark; daughters, Emily and Lucy; son, Spencer; father, John Henderson; sister, Laura Raymond; and brother, Paul Henderson. Other survivors include her father-in-law, George; and aunt, Linda Henderson.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, at Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, 901 West Second Street, Benicia.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Lisa and I were friends for over 28 yrs and she was truly a wonderful gift from God, a bright star and shining light. I am so blessed to have had her in my life and I am comforted to know that she is back home with God, Annabelle, and her Mom. Lisa fought a hard battle. She did this for those she loved. Lisa you can rest now. You did a wonderful job in raising your darling children~Mark will be okay.
