Robert Devore Obituary
July 8, 1941 - Sept. 23, 2006
Robert James Devore, 65, a resident of Vallejo for 61 years, passed away Saturday at Shasta Regional Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Vallejo.
He worked as a truck driver, owner and operator for 35 years.
He was in the U.S. Air Force for four years, 1960 through 1964. He loved the A's, Raiders, fishing and the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Veronica of Vallejo; daughter, Brenda (Mark) Craft of Vallejo; son, Michael (Heide) Devore of Napa; two grandchildren, Kayla and Christopher Craft; and longtime friends, Gene and Cheryl Jones.
Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Skyview Funeral Chapel, Vallejo. Inurnment will be private.
Contributions are preferred to the National Kidney Foundation of Northern CA, Inc., 553 Pilgrim Dr., Suite C, Foster City, CA 94404.
