As I was passed by a bulletin board in the Contra Costa College campus, I noticed a picture of my former instructor.... as I looked closer and within seconds realized that it was his obituary and it broke my heart to hear that one of my professors passed away. He was well known in his community and was a professor for several years. I had the opportunity to be apart of one of his classes recently. It was a pleasure to have known him and I pray several others who have taken his class will use what they have learned and cherish those class time memories and lectures that he once taught.
May he rest in peace and know that those he taught will always remember him.

My condolences to the Greer family. I took a few classes from Professor Greer and found him to be a unpretentious educator with ability to take a perplexing subject and present it in fashion that was understandable relevant.
