Adele Griffith Obituary
Adele J. Griffith, 89, Rushboro, died Wednesday evening at the Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock.
Born in Roxborough on April 21, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Clarence J. and Ethel Bowker Mellor.
She was married to Alvin Griffith for 70 years.
Adele was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking.
Surviving are a daughter, Dawn Ludlow, Sellersville; a son, Glenn (Francine), Rushboro; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Service and interment are private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the True Friends Animal Welfare Center, 16332 State Route 706, Montrose, PA 18801.
